ABSTRACT RULES!

Every so often we like to share with you some of the writings, scribblings and drawings from our gallery sketchbooks. This installment comes from our current exhibition, "Hans Hofmann: Circa 1950". There are a couple of interesting interpretations of Hofmann's works, a random portrait and of of our favorite lines, "Abstract Rules!". When you look at that phrase it could be taken so many ways, almost philosophically. But we love the enthusiasm.
